Jade Mountain Builders is always looking for fun new projects, and environmentally conscious clients. We love to help our homeowners turn their dreams into reality. For many homeowners, the task of finding a piece of land, designing a home, choosing a builder, picking finishes, balancing budget with reality, and still maintaining sanity can be daunting.

Jade Mountain Builders believes that this process can actually be a lot of fun, if approached correctly. For some clients, we are presented with a house plan, a building lot, a list of specifications, and we start building.  For most clients, we get involved a lot earlier in the process.

We work with clients to negotiate their way through a sometimes dizzying array of products and professionals, all claiming to provide the greenest option or alternative. We demystify the hype, and help our clients create homes that are ecologically sensitive, use less energy to operate, and are healthy to live in.

Design/Build

A question we are commonly asked is; “Do you do design build?”  The answer to that question is yes, but not in the traditional sense.  Most design build firms keep a designer/architect on staff.  We have intentionally chosen to not follow that model.  With varying budgets, personalities, and tastes, we feel as if having lots of architects/designers to pick from just makes more sense.  After understanding our clients needs, we recomend  a few different architects who we feel are a good fit.  Once chosen we all work as a team to make sure that whatever is designed, can be built within budget.
