Jade Mountain built this home for two of Hans’s closest friends, and fellow coaches of the Warren Wilson Whitewater team, Ben Edson and Emily Mahowald. Ben came to Hans with the idea of building a Net Zero home out of ThermaSteel panels, that made as much energy as it consumed. What we ended up building was a home that produced MORE energy than it consumed!
