This home was built for an outdoor enthusiast/Arial Artist, who works for Patagonia, as a second generation of Hans and Tina’s house.

We recycled the porch and main living space from our home, but worked with architect Michael McDonough to alter the plan to match our clients’ own needs.

With the support of Patagonia’s commitment to subside their employees’ Green Building projects, we were able to achieve a HERS score of -6, which exceeds Net Zero energy usage, and actually qualifies her home as a Net Producer.  We achieved this through a combination of PV solar power, Geothermal Heating/Cooling, and good design.
