Earthworks
Building a home begins with the land — and how you treat that land shapes everything that follows. Our Earthworks division handles the first, most foundational moves: grading, site development, drainage, utilities, retaining walls, and the manipulation of stone and soil to create beautiful, functional hardscapes.
This isn’t just excavation — it’s craft. Our crew brings precision and artistry to the dirt work, shaping the land to support the home both structurally and aesthetically. Whether it’s integrating boulders into a natural terrace, stitching a foundation into a steep slope, or dialing in drainage on a challenging site, this team knows how to work with the land, not just against it.
We’ve invested heavily in this division — not just in equipment, but in people who know how to move earth with skill and sensitivity. These are dirt artists, not just operators. While they’re capable of handling large-scale excavation, we typically reserve them for the projects where finesse matters most.
Keeping this work in-house gives us greater control over the schedule, the sequencing, and the quality — especially on complex sites where timing and terrain are everything. It allows us to lay the groundwork — literally — for homes that belong exactly where they’re built.
