Amazing transformation of the church building at the corner of Montford Avenue and West Chestnut Street. Under the direction of the new owners, Michael McDonough, a Montford architect, and Hans Doellgast of Jade Mountain Builders, have been nothing short of miraculous. The inaugural Root Cause Awards, celebrating achievement in the local forest products industry and sustainable forestry, were announced Oct. 3 during a celebration at Appalachian Designs in Fairview.
